Destination: Toronto

The baseball world woke up to surprising news this morning, with George Springer signing with the Blue Jays. According to Jon Heyman of WFAN and MLB Network, it's a six-year deal worth $150 million -- the longest and most lucrative deal of this sluggish off-season.
Along with moving from the AL West to AL East, he becomes the key veteran presence on a Toronto club loading with up-and-coming talent: Dante Bichette, Vladimir Guerrero Junior, Cavan Biggio and Teoscar Hernandez.
The challenge facing Springer is how he becomes the mentor, the Yoda, the savvy veteran who'll provide on-field leadership and a strong clubhouse presence.
