Farewell to one of baseball's longest running March addresses -- Fort Lauderdale Stadium. Second home to the Yankees for more than 30 years, it most recently hosted the Baltimore Orioles, who'll relocate to Sarasota for 2010. Long surpassed by more modern and elaborate facilities, it's a throwback to simpler times -- like that long climb up the outside of the ballpark to get to the press box.

Ashburn Alley, the delightful arcade of shops, eateries and attractions that rings the outfield area at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. While I'm not sure the ballpark is responsible -- compared to the franchise's three straight post-season appearances --one noticeable change among the Phillies fans is how many now wear team apparel to games.

One of the prettiest settings for any ballpark, major league or minor, it's PNC Park. Here's another glimpse of the home of the Yankees Triple-A affiliate in Scranton, PA. Taking advantage of the natural terrain reminiscent of Dodger Stadium, the ballpark is cut into the slope of a small mountain. Adding the deep blue of the sky at dusk frames this royally.
